  • Guest：My friends and I stayed for 3 nights in July on a girl's trip. My friends had a super cute room with a sheep theme on the first floor (second floor in the US) and I had an equally cute room on the second floor (third floor in the US). The rooms were very nicely decorated and both had modern, updated bathrooms. What really makes this guesthouse special is the hosts Anita and Dennis. Dennis very kindly helped us get our luggage up to our rooms and was superb every morning in the kitchen. Anita is fun to talk to and was able to help with restaurant and laundry suggestions. Anita also went above and beyond when my friend left some items in a drawer. She contacted us right away and was able to send the items overnight to our next hotel. My friend was so grateful. The location of the guest house is within walking distance of the train and you don't have to contend with all of the crowds in Bowness.
  • Guest：Delightful guesthouse close to everything needed in Windermere, but the outstanding thing about it is the owners, Anita and Denis are so knowledgeable about the area and more than that so caring and helpful to their guests. I was especially grateful for their kindness in looking after my needs, being somewhat disabled. Breakfasts were delicious too! Highly recommended.

  • Guest：Wonderful guesthouse to stay in and visit the Lake District. Room was nice and clean ! Hosts Anita and Denis were super hospitable and friendly, and whipped up a fantastic Caribbean breakfast (Saltfish Fritters) and Full English Breakfast for us each morning :) Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to stay at Windermere !
